A great, under-appreciated amp. Years ago I played my old MSA through one of these at an outdoor show, and I kid you not, my steel sounded almost identical to a push-pull! And stereo chorus without lugging 2 amps is quite nice, I love that sound personally.

Good luck with the sale, JC.

Your amp

Just getting started in this pedal steel business. Got the guitar, need the amp. How much do you figure to get it to Houston, TX?

Thanks,

I bought one of these the first year Peavey made them and loved it. I always wondered if it would sound great with a steel guitar running through it. Can't remember why I got rid of it, though...guess I just wanted something else.

1st time i ever saw/heard one, Weldon was playing through it one tv taping for tnn. Billy Walker was the artist and i was playing lead.
Of course, Weldon would sound great playing through a pig-nose amp !!!

these amps were out many years ago, 25 yrs or so. Then someone had idea to improve it and they missed big time (in my opinion).
