Charlie Pride Steel Player on Wilburns.......
Did anyone watch the Wilburn's today? Charlie Pride was on with his own band. Just wondering who his steel player was at the time. D10 Emmons. Hal Rugg was with the Wilburn's, but Charlie had his own steeler.
Please advise, and thanks.

Gene always used a red pinstripe bar towel because it didn't have any lint on that kind of towel. Another interesting point was that Gene did not have his floor pedal raise his 4th and 5th string which is typically on the 3rd pedal, he always told me that it made more sense to have that on as a knee lever. The first album that he played on with Charlie Pride was Kiss an Angel Good Morning. That's when Charlie started using Gene on his sessions, prior to that it was Lloyd Green. Gene was a good friend.
