Not making St. Louis this year

Post by Ray Harrison »

Sandra and I have decided to not come to the show this year due to some schedule conflicts.
Just my luck that we have some really great players lined up again this year.

I do want to offer my congratulations to three awesome players who were selected to the HOF, Russ, Bobbe and Larry are very deserving of this Honor for the work they have done over the years, both on the road, TV, and Studio.
Great job in selecting these players.

Have a great time in St. Louis, and Thank you Scotty.

Thank you Scotty and Chris. I certainly enjoy all the aspects of the show, singing with you Scotty, and Bill Stafford, the guy who got me started in these shows.
Some of the folks I only get to see at the ISGC, but look forward to visiting with you Scotty at the SWSGA show in Jan.
Take care, I'll be missing all of you.

Sure sorry to see that my ole navy buddy will not be here this time. Things will not be the same. You will be missed. Hope you can make your first trip to our Deep South Show coming up. Will let you know the dates when I get back from St. Louis. I am sure anxious to share your talent with all my friends here in our area. I am proud of you and your talent and especially friendship over these many years.

Once again I offer thanks to all my great friends for your comments.
I cerainly will miss all of you as much as you miss me. It was a difficult decision on what we were to do. I will definitely be in Feenix for the show, Good Lord willing.

Ray, will sure miss you and Sandy and all those Grasshopers we are able to drink. Will have two or three for you too to try and make up for you two not being with us there. Might have to have more than that. lol
Will save a big spot on our band stand in our Deep South Steel Show coming up before years end for you and give you both some of the best Southern hospitality you could ever enjoy..
Another of my good friend musicians, Wendell Gurley, will be introduced to the St. Louis folks, and hopefuly, we can hear both of you together on our stage coming up in Gulfport soon. Best to you and yours.. You will be missed and thought about in St. Louis.

Bill, I've always treasured our friendship and looked forward to the too few visits we get to share. I'm dedicated to do my absolute best to make your show in Gulfport this coming spring.
I know that Sandra will miss her shopping with Betty and the friendship that they have developed over the years.
I must once again Thank You for introducing me to this wonderful circle of friends that I have accumulated in the Steel Guitar world.
I will miss, Very Much, not being at the show.
Enjoy yourself, but not with toooo many Hoppers......
