F/s Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster

Post by Richard Fitzgerald »

THIS GUITAR IS NEW UNPLAYED EXCEPT BY A LOCAL LUTHIER. IT IS A 2000 MODEL I BOUGHT AND NEVER GOT AROUND TO LEARNING TO PLAY IT AND HAS BEEN UNER MY SPARE ROOM BED FOR SOME TIME. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL GUITAR. THE SERIAL NUMBER IS Z0026552. IT WAS MADE IN CORONA, CA. THE BODY IS ASH AND THE NECK IS MAPLE. IT HAS LOCKING TUNERS AND STRAP LOCKS, 22 MED,JUMBO FRETS. SINCE I NEVER REALLY LEARNED ANYTHING ABOUT STRATS I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL LUTHIER TO HAVE HIM CHECK IT BEFORE LISTING IT. HE ASSURED ME THE NECK WAS PERFECTLY STRAIGHT AND POLISHED UP THE FRETS AND PUT A NEW SET OF STRINGS, ADJUSTED THE ACTION REASONABLY LOW. A TREM BAR AND THE CASE WHICH IS REALLY NICE IS INCLUDED. ALL THE PAPER WORK FROM FENDER AND OWNERS WARRANTY AND SOME OTHER PAPER ARE STILL IN THE CASE. I FORGET WHAT THEY CALL THE COLOR BUT IT IS A GREENISH BLUE STAIN AND YOU SEE THE GRAIN OF THE WOOD THROUGH IT. VERY PRETTY!! THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES DINGS OR ANYTHING ELSE ON THIS GUITAR. I'M ASKING $1,100.00 PLUS $50.00 FOR SHIPPING. THIS QUITE A LITTLE LESS THAN I PAID FOR IT. I CAN TAKE PAYPAL AT 3% ADDL. THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOD BLESS, RICK

Rick, I would call that color "Teal", and a very beautiful looking guitar!

HI RICK, AND THANKS FOR THE INPUT. WHAT MAKES THIS GUITAR SO GREAT IS SEEING THE WOOD GRAINING THROUGH THE STAIN. IT'S NOT LIKE PAINT. BE WELL, ANOTHER RICK!

Steve, there is a chance he may not have his email updated on the forum. That makes it impossible to contact him. Happens to me all the time! Without a current email he will not get any notification of replies to the ad as well.

Thanks, Ken. He DOES have email, and the guitar has a new home.
