Fender Stringmaster Photos requested...

Post by johnely »

Hello All,

John Ely here... Paul Warnik is doing a feature on Fender Stringmasters in the upcoming Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association newsletter. He's done it up right, but we need some high resolution photos of different Stringmaster models. Can anyone out there help?

I'm at johnely@hawaiiansteel.com if you'd like to email me anything you have.

Much appreciated!

John, I have a mid 60's D-8 dark finish. It's got some dings and a missing bridge cover. I've seen pics of mighty clean ones on the forum. If you want it, let me know. Otherwise, I'll defer to those who have very clean ones.

Hey John! I emailed you some pictures of me playing my double 8 Stringmaster, and one of Duke Ching with his triple neck model. Taken in Seattle, at HSGA (me, Alan Akaka and Dereck Mau with unidentified Japanese bassist), and at Henry Allen's festival at Ka'anapali on Maui (a great festival for jamming and sitting in). See you in Joliet (I hope!).
