Really looking forward to flying across the ditch from New Zealand to play at the Aussie steel show in Brisbane this weekend 25/26th June .. it's been a couple of years since I played there so it will be good to catch up with Warren Neilsen, Bob Alloway and Noel Anstead and their hardworking crew. This show is always an outstanding event !

Hi Bob yeah we have been having a fair amount of disruption in air travel downunder due to volcanic ash from the Chilean volcano !! hopefully it won't affect my flights !

Just a quick note to say thanks to all who put this show together, for a great day. It was a real treat to hear so many excellent Australasian Steel Guitarists in one room.
Congratulations on your award Paddy! You and your band were sensational.
Couldn't make the Sunday sessions as I had to be back here in Sydders, but I'll definitely try to make the trip again next year.

Hi Geoff thanks mate, yes it was a great night - shame you missed the workshop, that seemed to go down very well too. Weather was great and so was the beer

Hi Jeff. O'Neill, Odell, Smith or Jones. It don't matter as long as there is a steel guitar in the photo! Thanks for putting the photos up.
A very big thanks again to all the Crew in Brisbane. They do a great job every year.
Roger, I'd take it to bed with me but the Missus reckons the pedals might rip the sheets!
Paddy I've been shopping for an SKB case. Great idea. ( is yours the H3611 model ?). Thanks Brian for helping me on the Sunday. That case must be full of coins by now ????.
Looking forward to next year. Better get to practicing right away. Love to see you guys in Sydney some day soon.

Thanks Paddy. My son who works at Billy Hyde Drumcraft in Sydney has ordered one in for me. Mates rates too so thats a big help. I'll check out "Clark Rubber" for the lining material and I will ask Tom Palmer if he will make me up a pouch for my pedal bar just like yours. I already have a few of his covers and as you know they are great. Take care .... Nick.
