Sho Bud LDG "Real Nice" SOLD

Post by David Kellogg »

Serial number 14269 Sho Bud LDG in fantastic condition. Zero fading and the only flaw is a one bar chip shown and white tape of some kind was used as fret markers, done very well but I don't know why that was done. I decided to put a new fret board on as the white stuff was paint covering the card symbols. I also removed the keyhead and polished it and installed new strings and this thing is like new again.

Image Even the case is in great shape with no tears at all in the tolex. Original leg bag which is perfect and legs are like new. Underside is pristine and the red showing on the closeup of the knee levers is only a reflection of the red case lining. Not too often does one this clean show up and no checking in this original finish. $2075 HAS BEEN SOLD

That's a beauty! My guess would be that someone who owned it didn't appreciate card symbols on the fretboard...

Blackie Taylor told me once that he had a student who was progressing well and his mother brought him in to buy a better steel. The kid wanted a ShoBud but the mom wouldn't buy it because of the "card symbols" on the fretboard and guitar.....JH in Va.

New Price Again

Post by David Kellogg »

I added a new fretboard as the covering on the other was paint instead of tape, new strings and polished keyhead and now she dang close to new. Larry, this is a different LDG than the one you saw and this has a nicer finish as the laquer is not checked. Had to kick the price up just a tad but it's well worth it. $2200 which includes shipping.

Dave,
How's it going buddy? I think you meant the RKR lowers 2 and 9, and not 8, correct?

Nice looking bud and great deal from Dave!!!
