In response to a question...
This is not a pedal steel instrumental CD. Most of the songs have quite a lot of Pedal steel and one is an instrumental. However, two songs have zero pedal steel. These are all songs I wrote, performed, and recorded.
I had a ball designing my CD cover and all the little details that go into making a CD.
The CD was commercially manufactured.

I'm not a hot picker like many of the folks who put out the pure intrumental CD's... This is really more a songwriting venture happily married to my steeling

Anyway... you can preview the entire CD by simply going to my website and clicking on the songs...

Steve, I've heard some of your tunes and I'm sure the CD is really good. Congratulations on the birth of this new baby!

uh... no. But I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

btw... The phrase "No Yodeling Allowed" is a reference to a steel guitar instructional primer I wrote about three years ago. I commented that a beginning pedal steeler tends to sound like three drunken cats atttempting to yodel. I've been trying to design a logo for my record company (Yodeling Cat Records) but each design appears perilously close to "Bill the cat" on a binge.
