Terry, sorry I did not call today. I was wondering if you could come up and bring the guitar. The reason is because I have all my parts and equipment to work with here. That would save me bringing a car full of little parts to Branson. It would probably save us both a lot of time experimenting. Let me know? Got to go to the Dentist in the morning, but I will be free after 12:00.

Miss Lana,
I'm glad that you're a fan of the steel guitar. Since you are excited with your new found love, (the steel guitar), you need to learn how to play one. It's great therapy and rewarding when you learn a new lick. Just think of it! You're surrounded by steel players who could teach you what you need to know on the steel. Maybe Scotty will give you a good deal on a steel. Of course, you couldn't go wrong with a Bethel steel or a Zum or an Emmons or a Mullins or whatever! I personally really like the Emmons! It sounds like a steel ought to sound! Let me know what you think about learning how to play steel. If you've got the desire and the time, you're well on your way!

This just came in to me.
Terry, Once again I have to cancel out on your show...It saddens me greatly to do this, I can't get anyone to work at the club for me so my boss won't let me off.
I am so sorry to do this for the 2nd time but it is out of my control. I hope you understand.
Thanks,
Junior.
Junior, I do understand, and I invite you now for next years OzarkSGA Jam. I hope to see you down the road somewhere.

Mr. Hanley
You are not the only one who is after me to take lessons. And I may say that I am seriously considering it. My hardest decision IS which guitar to use! I can't approach that decision the way I do the football pool (which team has nicer uniforms). And yes, I constantly surround myself with great influences, teachers, and innovators - I couldn't go wrong.
Until then, I'll continue to support the shows, players, and music (and make a mental note of all those cool licks)!
Thanks for the encouragement. I do appreciate it.

Whoa this is just getting better all the time. But I still don't see Terry Bethel on the players list. I suppose I'll have to doctor the schedule when I get down there. Let's see, at what time would you all like to hear Terry? Beginning, middle, or end? Let me know so I can make the 'alterations'!!!!
Sorry Junior had to cancel. I'll have to talk to him about a little thing called vacation! Just teasing. Glad he cancelled for work.

We Win! We Win! We Win! We Win! We Win!
Please let me make the formal announcement...
NEW ADDITION TO THE LINE UP -
TERRY BETHEL - Number 1 chauffer in the world oh and he plays the steel guitar pretty darn good in his spare time.
Yes I agree, I think it would be great for Terry to kick off this year's show. I'll make sure it gets on the schedule (hee, hee, hee).

Terry, I'm anxious to play your show again this year. Mabye I can talk my long time friend Ralph Higgins to sing a tune or two with me. He did sing with me a couple of years ago and he got a great reception from the audience. We played in the same band many years ago and we both remember the style that was popular back then. See you there. Scotty

Ya'll still have time to get your reservations for the Branson show. All these great players under one roof...don't want to miss this. Terry has always pulled together a great show and this year is no exception. Just look at the line up. Scotty, Joe, Randy, Russ, Mike and of course by popular demand (without the twisting of arms) Terry Bethel will play. See you in Branson!

Hey everybody we have added another player.
Please check the post at the top. Roy and I became friends when he came to a show at the Mel Tillis Theater. You talk about a history of playing steel guitar, this man has one.
So if you haven't made your reservations at the Baldknobbers motel, you better do it before it is sold out.
