I just obtained a copy of Mike Sweeney's new CD, "Heart of Steel." This is one really fine CD. His tone and touch are impeccable. This CD is a "Must Have" for any collection. Randy Beavers co-produced it with Mike, so need I say any more. I believe Mike told me he used Randy's tube pre-amp on the recording. Randy uses Brad Sarno's new Revolution pre-amp, I believe. Do yourself a favor and at least give this recording a listen.

Hal, I haven't seen or talked to Loretta in a couple of years. They tell me she has osteoporosis very badly. I heard she just had shoulder replacements. As far as me personally knowing, I don't see her or talk to her very often. I saw her a couple years ago in Branson. She seemed to be getting along ok, then. She represents the best years of my life.

Treat yourself to some super steel guitar work. Buy Mike's CD's and be sure and order the tracks if you like the songs on the CD. There's no shortcuts on Mike's tracks. Done up right.
