The Hulaville Island Cafe and Company Store in San Clemente is becoming the new center of steel guitar activity in Orange County
- "Hulabilly" Concert: 8 - 10 pm 25 June ( concluded) featuring The Hula Girls, Kevin Bullat on steel

This first kanikapila was a off to a good start. Four steelers (Jozef Smith, Johnny Pal, Pat Quilter, and Kay Das), ukelele players and a bass player. Good fun, differing styles of the steelers, and that is what lap steel is all about. We all need to polish up our kanikapila skills..like when to hand over the lead to the next steeler, and also to balance out the loudness of different instruments.
We were having so much fun that nobody remembered to take pictures. If any did, would appreciate contacting me.
