why ??

Post by Al Risbeck »

Why hasn't this sold, the price is below market from any dealer, and much less than I gave Bobbe for it, Dennis I'd buy it back, which I could afford but the divorce would cost too much.

"79" Emmons

Post by Mark Nohren »

Hey Dennis,
Could you explain the ins and outs of a push pull? Or anybody for that matter can chime in. I want to buy a quality d-10 that is in excellent shape with no play ability issues. I buy vintage 6 string guitars and I wish to purchase a pedal steel that is the ultimate statement in play ability and aesthetics I plan on putting it in my private studio for jamming. I don't want a fixer upper in any way. It must be a first class player (that stays in very good tune) not needing attention for one thing or the other. Thanks,
Mark

thanks for looking at my emmons. first of all there is alot of info on this forum for the emmons push pulls. do a search on them and you will find all kinds of info. A few things that I would say about them is one of the finest tone and sustain out there in my opinion. And once set up correctly they stay in tune great. there is alot of forum members can tell you more about them than me and are invited to chime in on this. Where are you at in Il?

Being a '79, it could have very possibly been built with LeGrande type pedals.
