Joe Wright will be the opening act for Ray Price at the Georgia Mountain Fair on July 25th. Shows are at 2:00 PM and 8:00. If you are in the area come out and cheer on Joe and listen to Ray front Mike Cass’s set.

I’ll be there on the 19th, 22nd, 26th, 28th, and 29th with Jim Wood or with the Ga. Mtn. Fair Staff Band.

Great things are happening for Joe, and deservedly so. Ray Price will have a very tough act to follow. All those who caught Joe at the recent CISGA show will understand my comment. This is one MASTER of his insturment and all in the audience also. So proud of, and for, Joe.

Great player as well as entertainer, Joe Wright! He's unlimited, regardless of which direction you go, country, rock, gospel or anything else. Very inspiring to watch him!

We have seen Joe several times he only gets better, I like when he just sits there and starts playing and just looks around like he is not doing anything. Inspiring.

Any pro knows that a great opening act only makes for a better show all around.
Im glad to see that Joe is getting more into the concert circuit and venues such as this one. I believe his act would play anywhere.
Its great for the pedal steel guitar(in so many ways)that a fellow with Joe's talent can bring it to a whole new audience apart from the psg show crowd. I look forward to hearing him!

Opening for Mike Cass or following Joe Wright, either way, I'm not feeling sorry for either one. It just adds up to a real bonus for those able to attend. Those are two great players.

In all fairness to Mike Cass,
as an act, Joe can play as much
or as little as he wants to,
whereas Mike has to play his
sideman parts.

Mr. Stafford,

I believe you are wrong, you ment that Ray will have a tough time following Joe especially if Theophlous is with him

Joe is a GREAT steeler & showman. However,I don't think that Ray will have too much trouble following him. Now,there'll be someone else there, that may have a problem following Joe.
