While we are having all the summertime activities and fun stuff, let's not forget our old friend The Forum. We may be busy, and not checking in as much during the summer, but the maintenance costs still accumulate. I recommend sending a donation in. I'm sure b0b and the guys will be able to put it to good use. They even accept PayPal. I'll lead by example and make one right now. Anyone care to follow?

I agree, Curt and Howard -

If anyone has a hard time remembering their last contribution, maybe add it to your annual BIRTHDAY MONTH to-do list:

1. Drivers license renewals, vehicle taxes, etc.
2. Annual Physical - If you're over 50, you know the rules!
3. Make sure your wife, mother, sister, daughter(if age appropriate) remembers HER mammogram (ok to be pushy to the point of being obnoxious about this!!)
4. Buy yourself and your loved ones a CD to celebrate your birthday - AND include a contribution to our great Forum!!

Ok guys,

Remember the forum when you send your alimony payment. Don't forget b0b! He may lock up some threads, but he'll never refuse your right to see the kids.....

And what about that student of dance that you made a contribution to at that lounge? Don't forget b0b, even though he may be the furthest thing on your mind.

Cases of beer on sale at the beer distributor? Gonna pick up 6 of them? Remember the forum while you're checking out the beef jerky at the register.

Just filed chapter 11 and you owe 40 creditors? No problem, they're probably crooks anyhow who gouge their customers. Send a donation to the forum and give the creditors $0.10 on the dollar.

So, you see....there are many memorable occasions to remember the forum and what a great job b0b has and is doing.

Tell em' HowardR sent ya'.....

Question: What is the difference between ignorance and apathy?

Answer: I don't know and I don't care.

Well, I just sent off a donation...I challenge everyone to do the same RIGHT NOW. Don't wait until later, or you'll forget!

We have over 5000 members...even if everyone just sent one dollar, that would pay the bills for a while.

Yeah! My items will remain in the ‘For~Sale’ Sections for as long as it takes to sell them, and the bottom line is “It's not completely free”! Don't forget to keep caught up with donations from items sold too!

I'm an equal-opportunity borrower myself.

Howard, I was just reading on Al Marcus' website that he sold you his old Sho-Bud of 16 years. He said, "I am sorry I sold this to Howard R. on the Forum."
Was it that bad?

Bump for this worthy cause! Pledge now!
I'm sending in $5 on the sale of a $20 steel cover. Matching funds, anyone?

Sent mine in yesterday. Five bucks won't feed a family of four at McDonald's any more than a steel guitarist can, but it's a drop in the bucket for this fine facility, and the meager cost of a bottle of cheap wine.
Pledge now!
