Fred, tell ya what I'll do. I'll save you a hamburger and mail it off to you monday thru the post office. Shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 days to get there. It'll probably taste like 'possum and if you don't like it, you can mail it to Ferris or Jennings. haha
Kidding aside, wish you could be here! I owe you a phone call, Ray

Donna, we're looking forward to you and Jerry being here. Also, Dana & Randy and Austin & little brother. Looks like its gonna be a good time and family reunion. See ya Sunday. Ray

John, if I could throw it that far, I'd send it airmail.
Sorry, I can't make it to Marshfield this saturday. Just to many things going on for my frail body! Also, I like your gospel song. I'm sure you'll find lots of the old gospel songs to pick from and good luck on your adventure. Ray

Just wanted to thank everyone who came to the cookout yesterday! All the fellowship and support just couldn't have been any better. I can't begin to name everyone who was there but some "special" thanks goes to Rob Parker for coming all the way there from Paducah, Kentucky. Also to Kurt Graber who went out of his way to be there from Wichita. Jerry Newberry and Austin Stewart and their families. Mike McGee and his wife. Fred Fuller, as it was his first time and he had a 3 hour drive to get back home. Jerry Hubbell and wife from Howard, Kansas. Marty Neer, Chairman for the Oklahoma Steel Guitar Association. Clovis Richards, who's like a brother to me. Thanks Clovis! All the members and guests and back-up players, the list just goes on and on. We had 10 steels set-up and a total of 13 players and a total of over 50 people. Fred, we sure missed you, but this picture was made especially for you. Thanks to everyone who brought food as it was all great. Again, "thank you" to everyone from myself and Lee Ogle.

Ray, I dearly love all my steel guitar friends and family and really wish I could have been there, but this here picture boys and girls is CRUALL AND UNUSEUAL PONISHMENT
to say the least!!! Randy and Austin, you really know how to hurt a guy.
I'm looking in my law book as we speak, to see if there's a law against this kind of harassment, ha ha.
Love ya all!!!

Fred, better look again! Thats our good buddy from Wichita, Kurt Graber, and it was their idea to do this. You know I wouldn't ever, ever do this to you without my arm being twisted. They threatened to cut all my strings on my Rains steel if I didn't take their picture so they could torment you. I can get their addresses for you if you want to "SUE" them! Of course I get my 10% fee if you win.
All kidding aside, we were thinking about you Buddy. Ray

Fred, don't believe a word Ray says. He went to a lot of trouble to get those boys to pose for that picture Smile No really, Austin was a willing participant. At least they were thinking of their good buddy, Fred, though.

I think Dalton was the one who ate your share of the food though. He put away more food that day than he usually eats in a week.

We missed ya.

Wow what a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, listing to steel guitar playing and eating excellent food. Ray, Lee, family and staff you did a super job of putting this event together. Fred just because I'm a good ole boy and think a lot of you, I tried very hard to eat enough for both of us. (Seriously I wish you could have been there). I would also like to think Curt and Jerry for offering to let me set in on their guitars. Once again Ray, Lee and everyone that helped, Thanks a bunch! Clovis
