Jason Aldean's steel player?
The Truth
A band I play with has done this song live. I sold my Emmons S10 years ago... I currently have a National D8 console and a National Dynamic. I tried playing this on both and had trouble. I then switched to my Line 6 Variax and played it in open A using a LP model. It comes close, but not exactly... I'm assuming this is a pedal steel and not a lap. I really love the tone!
Anyone know who played on this tune? Thanx.

I watched it twice and never really listened to him before. It was a lot heavier than I expected to hear, kinda almost like metal country!Frank Freniere wrote:Can't believe nobody's commented yet on the Jason Aldean CMT special "By Invitation" this weekend. He has one kick-ass band.
And I love Jay Jackson rocking that Pro-I in his bare feet, all tatted up. He has a really nice sound. If your're a FoBro, Jay, take a bow!
