Has anyone seen or heard from Bill West lately? I sure would love to get in touch with my old class mate. If you have any news, I would appreciated an email or answer here on the forum. Thanks.

I got to meet this great Steel Player(and nice person). At Opryland in the 80's. He was playing an Old beat up Sho Bud with a pair of vise grips for a knee lever:). this guy COULD PLAY:).
I see a lot of Steel players with gold plated tuners
a velour seat,Webb Amp yadda yadda.
But Wild Bill West could PLAY!. that Sho Bud was missing half the parts off the front neck he had used them on the back neck...He talked to me his entire break I offered to let him go but he loved talking about Steel guitars.a very modest man with lots of stories. I will always remember meeting him:).
