Hi Johnny,
Here is your guitar. it is ready to hardware,
and finish. It just has sealer on it now.
Do you want it natural, or stained blue ?
Are you playing at the station Inn tomorrow ?
I need exact location and size for the pickups. If you are there, I'll bring it down. Call me tomorrow.

Rex, Very nice looking guitar. Did you carve the top like a Les Paul? Great looking maple! What's the scale length? I worked at a shop building standard guitars that closed and looking at those photos sure makes me miss it!

Thanks for the comments guys. Still a ways to go on this one. I have a few others a bit different. I'll post pics if you like.
The top is carved, the back is mahogany.
The scale length on this one is 24 1/4.
Talked to Johnny today, and this one is going to stay unstained. I'm going to bring down another finished guitar for him to play tonite at the Station Inn.
I'll have to check out that builders deal, thanks for the tip.
I've just started a double neck..
10 string non pedal/10 string solid resonater.
Just hope I don't have to put wheels on it.

Rex, I'm really impressed. Those are gorgeous. It took me a while to realize I was looking at a 12 string lapsteel.

I went to see Johnny last nite. Man those guys are great. He played one of my other guitars for a set. It was great hearing someone like that play one of my guitars.
It also helps me find out what works and what doesn't. You could probably do just as well with an 8 string, but it's nice to have the others when you want them, and also it makes it feel like a pedal guitar, if you play one of those most of the time.
Jon, glad you noticed the 12 string. I made it to try out new tunings, for playing a universal type tuning, with out messing with the pedal guitar. Now i can have it at the office and play whenever I get a few min.

Very old thread. I'm sure the pics are longer hosted which is why you can't see 'em.
