SICA 250 W 15" at 4 ohms *Free Shipping lower 48

Post by Ken Fox »

Weight is only 6lbs and 7 ounces! Take a load off!

New MAP (manufacturer advertised pricing) went into effect April 15th. All SICA and Jensen products have gone up.

In light of the NEO price increase worldwide we got in 50 of these speakers prior to the price increase. These are selling already and we will not have them again at this price.

Only the 250 watt at 4 ohms are on sale. The sale price will show when added to the shopping basket. Per OEM agreements and forum policy I cannot advertise sale prices. Thanks!

Pricing on the website includes shipping to the lower 48. All sales will also result in a 2.5% Forum donation.

Only 44 left and going fast. You save the $18.00 price increase and also shipping on these (shipping just this morning to North Carolina was $16.40 on one speaker). Again, there will be no more at this price after these are sold.

These do not fit in the old LTD400 amp, the transformer will hit the speaker.

No issues with:

Nashville 400
Nashville 1000
Vegas 400
Session 400
Session LTD 400
Session 500
Steel King

Just asked about the weight and here is the answer:

The Peavey BW speakers weight 17 pounds. The SICA weights 6 lbs and 7 ounces. Over 10 pounds of weight reduction.

The Peavey 1501-4 with a NEO magnet weights about 11 pounds.

Ther speaker in a Steel King is just about 24 pounds. Almost an 18 pound reduction in weight with the SICA

The FedEx guy showed up today with my 15" SICA while I was mowing the lawn, about an hour after UPS delivered my MB200. Thanks for the quick turn around Ken.

You can make it work....Rick Johnson made a new baffle board for my old LTD400 and it fits like a charm. Sounds great too.

34 left.

The new PS-15 Neo by Emionence will be out soon. I have been told it will be around $305.00 list.

Neo prices are going thru the roof and these last 34 are the only 4 ohm ones left at the sale price.

At this time I do not plan now to carry the Eminence PS-15, I fear it is just too expensive for most of us steel players and will not be a good selling speaker.

SICA Speaker

Post by Jim Johnson »

Ken sent me one about a week ago and believe me, it
feels light as a feather compared to my Nashville
400 with the 1501-4 Peavey.
Thanks for the fast turn-a-round Ken.

Hey Ken, The SICA 15" in my Steel King is wonderful!! How's your stock of SICA 12" 4 ohm speakers? Is the 12" pricing changing soon too? How large an opening do I need to front mount the SICA 12"? How does the SICA 12" sound compare to the BW 1201-8? Thanks!!

The new pricing has been posted on the website for the 12" SICA speakers.

We only stock the 15" at 250 watt./4ohms here at the shop. All others drop ship from distribution in Arizona.

I really do not know how it would compare to a BW speaker for sound

We did two of the 8 ohm SICA in a special 212 version of our amp for Tommy Butler and he loves them!!

Keep in mind the hole spacing is different than American standard. Not sure on the cutout, you can download a spec sheet here and get all those measurements:

I was asked again if these will fit a N-400. Yes, no issues. The hole pattern is American Standard!

From just up above:

These do not fit in the old LTD400 amp, the transformer will hit the speaker.

No issues with:

Nashville 400
Nashville 1000
Vegas 400
Session 400
Session LTD 400
Session 500
Steel King

Hi Ken,
Will these fit and work ok in the Nashville 1000.
If they will, how is the tone compared to the B/W.
