Fender GE Smith Telecaster in Honey Blonde nitrocellulose lacquer over tight grain ash. Signature series, designed in the custom shop and made on the line in Corona, CA. Lightweight and resonant, huge neck (described by Fender as extra deep 'U'). Unique body mounted lead pickup and fretboard markings inspired by one of GE's '40's Fender lap steels. Low serial number (in the 200's). Replaced tusq nut. Retail $2620. Current price listed below.

i watched the g.e. smith video on this guitar. they are very cool and if i had money i'd grab it at that price!

I own a really early one.... it helps that I play with G.E. from time to time.... and is a really great Tele. I wish I could buy a couple more of those necks.

Okay, it's been a couple of months since I've worked and prospects are not good. What do I need to do to put you in this guitar today? :) Tell you what; I'll sell both the GE Tele and the Vintage Reissue Strat (link below), including cases for $2400 and I'll ship them anywhere in the world as long as you can pay in US dollars and pay for the packing/shipping/insurance. Also coming up for sale - black Fessenden SD-10 with cast endplates and neck. Plays and sounds incredible (or it can). Also selling my '05 Custom Shop Gibson R8 Reissue '58 LP Standard in washed cherry (non chambered and long neck tenon).
