Hello Mary Lou - Rick Nelson with Tom Brumley
This is a great one. Lots of close up of Tom's playing and right hand technique too.

I figured I'd go ahead and throw this one in for fun too:

One Night Stand is my favorite. That's some 5 star rated picking on that song, and lots of it too.

Brian - I'm right there with you on "One Night Stand." Superb stuff there. I saw Tom Brumley with Rick Nelson about the same year (maybe the same year) as when the video was made, 1974. Great concert, but the only two songs I still recall are Garden Party and One Night Stand. I saw them at a county fair venue in Plant City, FL, and got a really great seat out in front of Tom. The playing was really hot, and up in the mix. I was totally amazed. I picked up the link to this video on a thread here in the forum somewhere a while back, and decided it was time to post it up front where folks would find it. This is the most amazing video of Tom Brumleys playing that I've seen, to include Buck Owens tunes.
I think it's quite evident that Nelson liked PSG and recognized Tom's great talents.

I really cant tell but the amps look to be Risson. Those were some great PSG amps in their day. I think Al Perkins used one.

More Brumley with Nelson...
I thought I'd put this one on the same thread.
This one is: I Shall Be Released, from Live at the Troubador. This is some more 5 Star rated picking by Tom Brumley.
