Tony Booth with special guest Georgette Jones will be on the show this week. I've been asked to play and very much look forward to it. For those that don't know, the show airs at 12 midnight on WSM so tune us in and check us out if you can. _________________ www.BuckReid.com

Junior... thanks for chiming in! It would be great if you could be here so we could catch up... it's been a minute or two hasn't it? I would hope you're playing somewhere and doing well, maybe you can tune us in. The band consist of Deanna Johnson(drums), Billy Johnson(Guitar), Ric Boyer(Bass), Drew Covington and Kenny Sears on twin fiddles. We're gonna have a blast!
Kenny... the 30th is this coming Sat. and yes I will be playing with both singers. However, I think i like your calendar better... I'd have a couple more days to shed. _________________ www.BuckReid.com |

Hey Everybody,
Some or most of the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree broadcasts are archived and posted for listening later. The Saturday, April 30, 2011, show is not up yet, as of today 5-2-2011, but should be soon. Check here for archives:

I thought that Tony Booth's vocal performance this year (March 2011) at the Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree was outstanding, what a voice!

It's up on the Midnight Jamboree archives now. Really good, a real shuffle-fest, all the old hits and some new ones, too. Great steel tone and licks! Tony was having a little trouble with his voice, but it still brought me back to those great days at the Pal in the early '70's. |
