I was lucky enough to be playing the Easter Festival in Hallkirk which is in the north of Scotland.
Each year gets better and the committee really do work hard to attract some great Artistes,this year We had Gail Davies and Band with Chris Scruggs,
South Mountain (Canada) with Steve Piticco.
Ron Williams and Justin Trevino with a band named
Heart of Texas.This band were fabulous.The steel player was Larry Horwedel and He was stunning,I had a long talk with Him, He is from the San Antonio area.He plays a Carter D10 to a dd3 to the supplied Fender Twin and His tone was superb,His playing was everything I want to be and He was younger than Me He does not post here,I thought everyone should know of Him.

Pretty much everyone in the San Antonio area knows and has worked with Larry, he's been one of the local players for decades. He's also an excellent guitarist and we used to work together with Johnny Bush.
Currently he's working with the Jim Byrom Band, among other gigs.

Larry subbed a gig for me a couple of different times, and all the band could talk about when I came back was how great he was.. SO... he's off my list.
