I'm just posting here to thank everyone for your attendence and awesome support of the Mt Vernon, Il show this past weekend. We, the staff and I, think this was our best show yet and a full house Saturday along with great crowds on Thursday and Friday thrilled us all.
Thanks to all the vendors,sponsers, players and of course the fans this show was a big success.
Once again no one on the staff, including myself gets paid for all the work and services they render. This is all done for the love of the steel guitar and keeping it alive and well. We are a non profit corp set up for just this purpose. Any profit will be used to arramge a bigger and better show and if there should ever be a huge profit a worthy charity will benefit.

Mt Vernon Show
Wanted to let Bobby and all the staff that put on the show know I feel like it was the best entire weekend we have had so far.
Cord, Dow the complete board done a wonderful job. I might add that IMO the sound this year was the best ever. Dave Flanagan and Dow and all the sound crew done real good!!! It is a very relaxed event but it runs smoothly.
The Band was great and I want to put in a good word and thank you to Mr. TERRY SMITH. I have a chance to play with Terry once in awhile and he is a delight to be with a can play that guitar with ANYBODY. Thank you Dave for letting me get to know Terry.
Had a great time visiting with friends and it was just a fun weekend for all of us. Looking forward to next year.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I know it's a year away but I am also looking forward to next year. We'll be putting a partial list of players and a tentative lineup on flyers to be distributed at St Louis.
