Considering all the improvements to the pedal steel from it's humble 1 raise days,you would think that someone would develop a universal knee lever kit,one that would allow at least a single raise,single lower to the standard economy guitars--Carter Starter,Sho Bud Maverick,etc.Granted the Starter has the basic 4,but as we all know the left moving knees,well to put it nicely--THEY SUCK.
As I said,if someone were to make a universal style kit,that would correct the weaknesses of said type guitars,well that might bring more people into the steel guitar fold.Just my opinion.
I would be interested to know if anyone agrees,and if there is anyone who might already be doing this kind of modifications. |
