I wanted to share my favorite pedal steels -MSA Universal 12's. All have the triple raise/triple lower changers and are set up Emmons style all the way so I can still play a D-10 with little thought. All were bought here on the forum and needed a lot of work. I just finished the red one which was the worst and is now the best Very Happy . Many thanks to a Texan named Darvin for the little nylon washers! Enjoy, Dave

That's a nice Grip of Steels you've got there!

A "Pod" of Whales, a "Grip" of Steels... is that right?
What is the word for a group of steels?

I have several Steels at my place and they are all single neck Universals, also.

Are yours all 7x5?

A Grip of steels? I prefer to consider it a harem. A very nice set of "godesses," anyway. (Eat your heart out, Charlie Sheen.)

That Red one with the Superman Logo on the pedal bar looks familiar. I sold it to Dave on the forum. I had it lent out to a friend for several years and it sat in his music room uncovered and collected a lot of dust. It's good to see it again. Ron

Pete - Yes they are all 7 x 5 now, Ron - I completely dissasembled the guitar and changer and installed an E-66 and new nylon washers in the changer. I haven't polished the pedal rack yet so Supersteel still lives! Mike - Blondie has been my main gigging guitar -I like the heavier pedal rack of the Classic XL and the open end by the changer. Note all have a different pup E-66, 10-1 and Supersustain II respectively.

I like all of them, I'm like Will Rogers: "I never met an MSA I didn't like". Smile
