In another thread, somebody asked me about the wrist lever, so I thought I'd post these.
Here's a close up of the wrist lever on the purple Millennium, from the front.
and here is one from the back of the one on my old mica guitar which I sold a couple of years ago in order to buy the 2nd Milly, which is also white. (The fact that they are both white is just a coincidence.)

Thanks Mike, interesting concept. I like the idea of having the B to Bb lower but not on the left as a vertical.Tryin to figure out if I really need it.

Couple shots of the one I had on a Sierra for awhile. Actuated by pushing down with the arm. I think Michael Johnstone did something similar.
Mine raised string 6 [#7 on the 14 stringer] G# to A# for a major 7th in the B6 tuning....same as pedal 4, but I do something different with 4. It could also be used to apply an augmented note in the E9 pedals down position as well as other ways. |

I wonder if it's possible to have a guitar with both types of levers. It might be hard to use them both at the same time, but maybe it could work if they did things that one would never combine. Perhaps raising both E strings to F# on the downward vertical, and lowering the 5th string to Bb on the horizontal one like mine.

Yeah Mike. I don't see why not.
Only thing, one would have to guard against making the right hand so busy moving levers as to interfere with picking. |

Under the "Custom Steels" tab on the GFI website:
"GFI built a steel for Ron Stroud, who is paralyzed from the waist down. Levers surround the right wrist, allowing Ron to get 4 of the 7 Standard E9 pulls." |
