Can anyone caption one of the group shots so we can put faces with names?

Ya, I'd like that too. I notice Jay Dee Maness but most of the faces I can't name.

The one thing I noticed about Jay Dee is that he's 10 years older than me and looks 5 years younger! How'd he do that?

Mike thanks for posting the great pictures. Looks like a good bunch of guys to pick with. I know Frank Carter had to play "My Weakness is Too Strong"". He does such a great job on that one.

more names:
#4: Craig Ferguson (not quite sure of the last name); only playing a year, real strong, confident player, even tackled jazz standards by reading the chart on the wall...and on a Carter Starter, which he made sound great! Nice going, Craig.
#17: world renowned John McDuffie, one of the town's best guitarists and steelers, played his new Sho-Bud 12-string ext E9 that day.

One omission: I think the gent's name is Phil, to Perlowin's left; grey shirt, beard, plays a Sierra.

That would be Phil Cannon. Phil is also an outstanding classical guitarist and (B word) player. Interestingly, he plays 4 and 6 string (B words), but not a 5 string, and he plays ragtime rather than bluegrass.

Of course, the B word would be...balilika? I'm sure I misspelled that!

Again, I have to say ho sorry I am that I got roped into work and had to miss it. I really wanted to meet everyone and make a feeble attempt at playing my 400 for a change-of-pace.

I WILL find a way to make the next one, and hopefully connect with some of the local folks before that.
