Well done! Now this is what a steel guitar should sound like! And Connie was stunning, too. I always find that the women were prettier in those days. Maybe I was born too late.

It happens everytime someone posts a utube, this time I watched a few Connies, love her. Then somehow I ended up watching some Gale Garnett, learned some stuff about her I didn't know. Then I ended up watching the Walker Brothers on Shindig. Gotta love it.

That's an excellent example of Emmons push/pull tone... it's in the "zing"! There's no sound like it. Cool

Hello Alan,

one way to play this move starts with strings
3 and 5.
Frets and pedals are:
pick: 17AB - 16B - 15AB, Pick: 15 - 14 - 13, Pick: 10AB,
then Str.4+5: Pick: 10AB,
then Str.5+6: Pick:10AB - 10 - 8 - 5AB - 5,

on the first two of the 10-AB`s (here written in Italic) you`ll play 10-B first and rock in Pedal A then.

Can`t write a chart now, but I hope that helped.
greetings
pit

Hi Pit
Great job, I will try it later today, it's a super lick, once I have it down I will probably play it to death everywhere, Thanks Alan..
