Touring this week and a half with a young singer/songwriter named Dylan LeBlanc. Their show features Pete Finney's steel playing and he sounds fabulous. He's playing a GFI S10 through a Nashville 112 with no effects. I highly recommend this show. |

Thanks John... It's fun listening to y'all every night too, great band and you get a lot of room to stretch out; you sound great on all your instruments!. This tours been really fun; Dylan's songs are great (very melodic and well written) and steel is featured on just about all of them - can't beat that! I've been enjoying doing the stripped down "just steel into an amp" thing with him too; it seems to fit.
If anyone's interested, there's 6 more shows on this tour with the Drive-By Truckers: Lexington Ky (tonight) and then Bloomington, In; Chattanooga, Tn; Charleston, S.C,; Wilmington N.C., and Charlottesville; Va. |

I saw Dylan play here in NYC a few months ago with Steve Fishell playing steel. Dylan gave the steel plenty of opportunities to shine.

I saw Pete playing with David Peterson in Nashville a couple of weeks ago and it was excellent.
Wish I could see him with Dylan, too.
And the Truckers, too. Of course.
Cheers,
