How do I tune a split?
How do you tune a split, on a changer that has split tuning screws? For example, a lever lowering the 6th string to F#, split with the pedal that raises the string to A. Result is an in tune G note.

There's an animation a few replies down that should 'splain it. Hope this is what you are asking about.

Tune open. Tune the raise with the nylon. Tune the lower with the nylon. Tune the split with the same nylon for the lower you just tuned. Retune the lower with the screw, if necessary. That should do it, b0b.
My best,

One of the most practical ideas to come along for PSG in a while! I wouldn't want a PSG without them. It also eliminates the necessity of using up all the holes in the changer, which could be used for other changes!

How do I tune a split?
B0b,
I found one of Mickey Adams' Youtube videos "Tuning Your Split Changer" the I think will answer your question about tuning that split.

I needed to know for a student. My own guitars don't have tunable splits. Thanks again, everyone.
