I am liking the sound of no picks at all lately. I would never have tried it with Dobro, but I kind of like it on lap steel. Just fingers and sometimes nails. I thought I would not like the lack of attack, but it has changed some of my bar stuff for the better. My thumb has developed a nice hard callus that sounds nice to me. How do the kids say? IMHO and YMMV.

I picked up a pair of National NP2's .... I really like the smaller band width.

That being said I want to try the Perfect Touch Picks ..I've read a lot of good thing about them here. Its on my to do list for St. louis
