Dave & Kevin, I stand corrected. Just curious, do either of you know specifically which songs Emmons recorded with them?

FWIW, the redhead who sang on Bing Bang Boom and The Blame is Nikki Nelson. She came into the band after Paulette Carlson left. I think Jack, Curtis and John N. were all still playing 101 gigs while Nikki was there.

Can't say for sure who's playing on the video link. But it's not Emmons or JD. And I'll leave it at that.

If your talking about the video link on "The Blame" it's Emmons.

My friend who happens to be the guitarist in the video says Buddy played on one or two cuts but that particular cut was John Norine. (spelling ?)

No need to worry about being wrong about steel players as these record companies shuffle them around as needed.

That's true. But there's not an Emmons sounding note on that entire cut. Buddy plays with a different attack, vibrato, and his playing is more in the pocket and has a natural flow to it.

I'm not knocking the player who ever it may be. It just in no way sounds like Emmons or Jay Dee.
