This is an early version of an instrumental from an old 45 RPM record of one of Ralph Mooney's tunes you can hear in a more polished format on his "Corn Pickin' and Slick Slidin'" album.

Thanks Greg... You surely cleaned up the sound on this old record. The name of this tune is Moonshine.
It got a lot of airplay around 1960, in Hawaii and SoCal. I have a tape copy around somewhere of this tune, and it is horribly dirty. Kudos for you efforts.  |

| The other side of that Challenge recording is the best version I have ever heard of "Release Me". I got that 45 right after it came out in about 1961. |

It's amazing how that "fifty year old tone" still sounds better than anything out there today.....JH in Va.
