Advice...
Hold on to your hat and put on your waders.
I use a folding piano seat w/ adjustable height in case the B.S. gets too deep.. _________________ MSA 12 String E9th/B6th Universal.

Never use the phrase "Honey this is the last guitar I will ever need".
Other than that, find a seasoned player and take all the lessons you can. _________________ Cops aren't paid much so I steel at night. |

And when she says: "It's the guitar or me..." well, don't think too long about it or she'll lay you out flat on your back. Actually, what I am trying to say is, run as fast as you can while yelling back at her, "have a great life, honey".
My advice, listen to and go see as many players as possible. Find a teacher if possible. Ask questions here. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Well I would say steelseat (check out my web site www.steelseat.com )
I just returned from delivering another steelseat to a customer that has been using a drum throne.
NOW of course I am going to say this since I build steelseats.
I would check with seasoned steel players - if you want I can get you some names (or emails) some will be using my seats and some not (YET I hope)
