Hello all...
I've made a post or two on the forum although I'm new here for the most part. I just wanted to share a tune I recorded on my lunch hour today on my brand new Williams. Bill Rudolph made me an excellent S-10 and it sounded so good I wanted to share. The tune is Yesterday by the Beatles. There are a couple of pitchy spots, but by and large ok for a one taker. Feedback welcome!

Sounds real nice!!! Great tone and nice track too.
IMHO....I'd like it more if it was about 4 0r 5 BPM slower. It just seemed to rush the melody to me.

Thanks for the feedback..the backup track felt a tad bit rushed to me as well...I purchased it from a UK kareoke site and just kept it at the tempo it was. I may go back and tweak a few things playing wise..if I do, I might slow down the track a smidge.

I have a friend that uses alot of "kareoke" tracks doing a single act and most of them seem a bit to fast on the default tempo. I think it's because most kareoke sings can't hold the notes very long!
If you redo this, for sure knock it back a bit.

Nice clear tone from that Williams, Jeff. But have to agree with others that fraze endings seem to be rushed. Speaking of tabs, I hate doing them by hand. Could anyone lead me to some specific software for Pedal Steel tabbing? -Bill

Roger,
I used the chords in this link to work up the tune:
