2003 F60 Gibson Hound Dog Dobro- Square Neck. "F" holes, Eastern U.S. Maple top, internal Electric Pick-up, Mint Condition. Made at the Nashville Tn, facility. Serial #D3052730 & Logo are stamped into head stock. Includes Hardshell Case.

I purchased this dobro from my friend Lloyd Maines in Austin. He used it as a studio back-up only. I can have him send you a letter if you buy it.

If you look at the pics of the one at SamAsh, you'll see that the logo & serial # are acutally decals / stickers. I believe this indicates that these are imports, and not the earlier American made models. Also they do not include a case of any type (not even a gig bag).

I have one exactly like Cliff's bought new back in 2003. It also has the "F" holes and serial number D3032610 stamped similarly on the end of the neck.

What Cliff didn't mention is that Gibson warranties this model for life. I've taken mine in a couple times for some minor adjustments and never a charge.

A great full sounding Dobro with an internal pickup for amplification with quarter inch jack on the end. Mine came with a gig bag.

I realize that this guitar may have already sold, but I am curious; in what year did Gibson start manufacturing the F-60 "Hound Dog"s overseas? Was it 2005?
