Ron Miller had one the best sets I've ever heard at steel shows I've attended. His backup band was Charlie Pride's band and Ron and them were great. They did a tribute to Tom Brumley and Charlie that was out of this world. Excellent Job Ron!!!

The Pridesmen set on sat was definitely a highlight for me!!!!!!! I'm still humming Stealin' Corn. The instrumental harmony and arrangements were absolutely fabulous....as my buddy Duane Brown says "its the real deal"

I have noticed that the guys that bring their regular pickers with them most always sound a little tighter. Don't get me wrong, we had excellent backup pickers it's just that it's better when they are all used to each other. I thought another good tight group was with Bert Rivera. Now when you bring up Tony Booth, Curtis Potter, and Leona Willams, they have played with most of the musicians that were on stage with them. It's kinda like when you get a group of old Bob Wills musicains together. They may not have played with Bob at the same time, but they know the material. Reggie and Mark twin fiddles, Doug Jernigan steel, Paul Polish drums, Ronnie Dale Schultz stand up bass, Roy Rosetta piano. You can't play Texas Honky Tonk music much better than that.

I too thoroughly enjoyed Ronnie's set and appreciate his great playing and the precision and passion of the band. I missed his set last year, so I made it a point to be there this time.

I met Ronnie on a cruise in the late '90's and he is a great steel player. He's also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

It was one of the highlights of the show for me. What an awesome band! I really enjoyed their version of "What A Fool Believes."

While I thought this year was one of,if not the best TSGA shows ever, I agree with all the raves about the Charlie Pride band.

Ronnie and the Band are always at the top of my favorites list.Their precision is always flawless. We are so lucky to have them every year unless they are on the road with "Boss Man" ,Charley Pride..

Ronnie also received the TSGA steel guitar Player of The Year Award. The TSGA Hall of Fame just has to be eminent

Wow, Thanks Jack, and everyone. How nice to see this.
This year was once again special to me, getting to do a Tom Brumley #1 medley with Rolene in attendance.
If not for the Pridesmen who bring there time and talent, I could not pull of the arrangments that we do, they are ALL terrific musicians/friends and I am proud to get to work with them.
Once again my thanks to all, I am not sure what we will be able to come up with next year that will equal the last 2 years, both are so special to me in my heart. If you were at our show @ TSGA in 2010 I don't need to explain...cheers, Ronnie

Ronnie I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make it next year and I'm sure that anything you play will be more than great to the entire crowd.

Ronnie always knocks me out. His set with the Pridesmen and Terry Downs is always the highlight of the day. The new material was great and performed flawlessly. Billy Martin sings so fine and the band is always at the top of their game. Ronnie is one of the nicest guys you can ever meet and it's always a pleasure to visit with him. We're already planning for next year. Duane
