Here's an unearthed video from the 2008 Portland Uke Fest (Oregon). It's the Canote Brothers - Greg and Jere with me on steel and Piper Heisig on snare drum.

Friday night concert - June 10, 2008

New as of three years ago or so.

It's a Jason Lollar direct replacement pickup for the Champion. I talked with Jason about getting more mids into the tone and cutting some of the twang, and he delivered.

My local Michigan buddy and forum member Bill Creller did the installation and wiring - also put new pots in the guitar.

You sure have a lot of fun gigs, Gerald. I'm sorry you won't be at Dallas this year - I was looking forward to hearing you play again!

Gerald, you sure hang out with some lowly creatures! Always have, I guess. Seriously, now... they're good pals and neighbors of mine and you sound great with 'em. If anybody in town would sing "Let's have fun with music", It'd be them Canotes.
