Hey Ron - Cookie Monster is on your bib. Oh wait, you spilled stuff on there last time so you couldn't see him - HA HA!

I'm planning on being there too. Lyle, if you get there before me, save me a seat right up front. I gotta figure out how these guys do what they do! Now, if some of them would slow down enough....

Hey Ron, I can't wait for everyone to see the Civic Center this year. They are doing a lot of "fix ups" on the auditorium including painting the back wall of the stage so it isn't that stark white it has always been, they have installed a new dance floor, the carpets are being professionally cleaned and just spiffed up a bit. I can't wait to see it when it is finished. Franklin County Tourism is back on board this year as a sponsor and we have a great line-up of players. I get so anxious this time of year. I can't wait to see everyone again. I have met a lot of fantastic people at this gathering and hope to meet a lot more this year. Tickets are available, vendor booths are available and hotel reservations can be made from the information on our webpage. Hope to see you all there.

Hey Ron,

Do you think there would be any interest in having a Silver Tumpet Convention to run concurently with Steel Guitar Conference?

I can bring mine if I can find it. I still remember the sore lips I got trying to learn to play it. Kind of like sore fingers learning to play a cheap guitar.

Lyle, I don't think a trumpet convention would bother our crowd,...but bring it if you must,...I'm sure we can find something to do with it..(Perhaps you remember the "Tuba" story) Ron

We are getting calls wanting to know about booth spaces. We do still have spaces available, (the Civic Center is huge) and are in the same room with the players. Give us a call if you would like more info on booths or anything else about the show.
