Noobie Steel Guitar Rag

Post by Robert Golembeski »

Basically just learned this from ear, so i'm sure there is a lot of missing/wrong parts. It sure is fun playing though.

Been playing for about a month, and probably have about 4 hours of actual playing time. Still have to work on keeping my right elbow down!

Sounds like you have it basically down. Need to work a little bit more on the second part fingering.
I learned this a "hundred" years ago (seems like it) listening to a big old Wurlitzer Juke Box playing Leon McCauliif's original version with Bob Wills. I was taking lessons from a Music School at the time. I came to class one day and played it expecting some alcolades. They looked at me like "that's nice, now lets get back to Liebestraum" !

Is that a left handed Steel or did the Video get reversed ?
