| Back in the 80s there was a local steeler,,,can't for the life of me remember his name,,he was in the Air Force, player in the Air Force Band of the West. Nice guy and great steeler,,,anyone know who I'm talking about? |

Yes Dave,,it was Gary Maddox. Haven't seen him since mid 80s. Guess he is probably retired out of the Air Force. Does he have his own group,,,or who does he play for? Does he still live in SA?
I stopped in Gruene Hall for a few minutes yesterday,,,I think that was you playing steel for Amber Digby right??? Sounded great! |
