Yep, The "Beavis and Butthead" creator and voice, just bought his third steel guitar from me.
A serious steel player and now friend to all of us steelers, Mike Judge.
It just goes to show, you can get rich in the world of entertainment, even if you do play steel guitar!
Cartoons and steel guitars, humor and steel guitars, I always knew they went together!
I was worried about him missing his plane, to which he stated, "Don't worry, I have my own private CJ-10, they leave without me, they don't get paid"!

This isn't the one he bought, he bought a Emmons LeGrande II, Aqua Marine blue, 3-5. slightly used. We have sold several this color as of late. Most late 90's or early '02s.
It is still on my web-page.
He also loved the red Sho-Bud Professional, as does everyone it seems.

I'm a HUGE Mike Judge fan. I think the guy is a genius. Beavis and Butthead and Hank Hill are great, but one of my all time favorite movies is a Mike Judge creation called "Office Space". If you guys have never seen it, you should go and rent it. It is one of the funniest, smartest movies ever made. And it's not a cartoon.

Bob Slydell: You see, what we're trying to do is get a feeling for how people spend their time at work so if you would, would you walk us through a typical day, for you?
Peter Gibbons: Yeah.
Bob Slydell: Great.
Peter Gibbons: Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh - after that I sorta space out for an hour.
Bob Porter: Da-uh? Space out?
Peter Gibbons: Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. |

I guess nobody told payroll he was fired.
Oh, and here's a lesson - if anyone wants to put your desk in the basement - DON'T DO IT!
Is Mike Judge the creator of Ed, Edd, & Eddy (another cartoon)? Edd is a pedal steel player. [This message was edited by Lana Rosselli on 12 April 2006 at 12:20 PM.] |

If Mike thought he knew geeks, based on his general fanbase, the poor guy ain't seen nothing 'til he sees what he gets when he crosses a fan with a steel guitarist. Scary, eh, Mike? |
