C6th knees

Post by Arthur Dickerson »

Robbie,

I'm not so far away in New Orleans, so I am real intrigued. I'm mostly playing C6th nowadays and I've never played a D-10 Sho-bud but I heard that although the foot pedals are pretty much what you'd expect, the knee levers don't necessarily enter into it. Do these knees do anything on the C6th neck besides lower the C to B? I'd love to come up and check it out but On the other hand if I know it's not going to work I'd hate to use up anybody's spare time.

thanks,

Jody

That is a Dell case made by Bob Dell. If I'm not mistaken, the guitar also has newer pull fingers in the changer replaced by Duane Marrs with the pins instead of the grove for string mounting.

Just put new strings on the Bud and polished it up.checked the underside all out, made a few slight ajustments and for the six knee on the C6th neck it is a LK/R raises the 3rd 1/2 tone . I would like to thank everyone who has visited this post still for sale R. PS some one posted on another post about this guitar being up to date.answer 1st 2nd sting raises,7th string raise and 9th lowers.the only draw back is no slit on the 6th sting and if had it I would keep it.stays in tune Just too many guitars at the time!

I've tried 7 ways to Sunday to figure out how to aquire this beauty and just can't do it. Must've looked at it 2 dozen times. I need to get some parts sold and maybe it'll still be around.
