It's now midnight in the UK. I have just returned from watching the best country band here in the UK at the moment and my friend Mark Dunn www.steelmixer.com played a few numbers demonstrating the dobro setting on the steel mixer and I am telling you now, it is perfect. I have been awaiting the opportunity to hear this next add on to the steel mixer, and it 100% perfect in my opionion. He promises me I will have mine updated for Dallas. The final add on is the iPod, iPad, iPhone link to link in FX. The Peterson power supply from the steel mixer will also be available. This is the most amazing steel guitar accessory ever invented to date. PERiOD. Many years in the design and now it's almost finally complete. For existing steel mixer users, its an upgrade that's necessary. Mark will be in touch about the process and cost too I am sure. I can't wait for you all to hear this. No more bulky clip on matchbro's, and battery problems, just wait till you hear it. He promises me it will be 2 weeks now so I may be able to demo it for you all on YouTube.
Many thanks for an enjoyable night with the NASHVILLE NUMBERS tonight for an excellent evening entertainment.
You better contact Mark Dunn ASAP to be in line for one of these, there is a waiting list.

Thanks for the nice post David.
The Silver Dollar Club on Sunday in Diss, Suffolk is a great venue for real country music. I really enjoy playing at this club. John and Theresa put in a lot of hard work to keep this club going.
It's always a pleasure watching David trying to find the lever that lowers the 6th on my steel... . My old Twin got a good hammering with both us using it together! You did some great big chord chord moves on the E9. I've never seen you do that before!
As I was watching David I was thinking about Paul Frankin's post about picking hard... David certainly does!
Better get back to the bench...
All the best

I clicked on the link, and i didn't find anything that specifically related to the dobro sound, but then I didn't listen to everything there either. Can either of you gentlemen point me in the right direction? _________________ Mark |

Mark / Lynn - The unit David used on Sunday was a prototype I was testing that night. I'm about to build up a pre-production prototype for David to play about with. I'm sure he will generate a few clips when he gets it.
