I've never seen one w/o a cover. The seller says I'm wrong and the lap is 100% complete.

I've seen plenty without a cover, but they came with a cover originally. It's not that big a deal. Do a search for the Fender catalog pictures previously posted by Michael Lee Allen to see how it would have looked.

Bridge covers are a pain in the okole (no translation required). They interfere with proper muting by the right hand. JMHO |

Sometimes if you want that semi-muted "reggae" tone bridge covers are in the way, you need to mute with the palm of the right hand right on top of the bridge to get that sound. _________________ "Play to express, not to impress"
