This is not really a steel guitar post....but this forum is the only one I'm ever on...so some folks know me I think. My son Rick Knowles won the WHOTUNE international singer/songwriter competition in December and has travelled all the way from Carleton Place, Ontario to Los Angeles (3000+ miles)to perform on the live Global Cam at the NAMM show at the Anaheim Convention Center. He's there now however he only has his guitar, no mike and no amp etc. The WHOTUNE booth is unfortunately right next to a drum demo and a heavy metal group. Any of you guys going there this weekend? Just wondering if anyone could take him (or let him borrow and he could pick up) an amp he could plug his TAK into and a mike he could use. I know this is a strange post, but you never know unless you ask! A little help now would certainly make his trip more worthwhile.
Thanks, guys
Mac

Mac, at the NAMM show he should be able to find some vendor, or musician who has a little extra gear to lend.
There's TONS of gear there. I'd advise him to start beggin'. lol

Best of luck to him.
