Man, I sure miss TNN and all the good stuff they had on on those programs...look at all the talent on that stage, my goodness.

Jamie...deffinitely Sonny Garrish. I had the pleasure of being on the same show as him here in UK in the very early 70's. I was doing a gig at USAF Mildenhall, in the days when they used to fly an act in from Nashville just to do the floor show. He was with Bill Anderson and the Po boys. I was terrified to go back on stage after their show as I'd only been playing a couple of years, but at Breakfast after the show, Sonny was as nice a person to talk to as you'd ever meet. He said they all start of as beginners, and just practice and more practice. How true that is. Have a great 2011 mate.
