Last night I had the pleasure of listening to a copy of Terry's new release. Folks, Terry is my longtime buddy, so any attempt to be objective would be useless on my part. But I don't have to be objective, because anyone who knows him knows his outstanding character and integrity. Oh, and by the way, this guy can PLAY steel guitar.
This is a pure steel album! Cover tunes and original compositions with the steel mixed out front, clean and clear. Beautiful tone and execution.
Those of you who already own Terry's earlier efforts will not be disappointed. But if you are not familiar, this would be a great place to start.
Keep watching for Terry to announce availability of this CD and where to order. I suspect b0b may soon have some copies for sale, and you could help the forum and Terry at the same time. |

Tim, You are so right!! Terry is an awesome player, loaded with talent, and who also is a great Christian family man. His Tribute to his friend Julian Tharpe set the stage for Julian's induction. Julian's family had tears in their eyes listening to the familiar stlye of playing. Terry drove all the way from Missouri to Alabama to Honor his friend and mentor Julian Tharpe. A finer man you will never meet. I will be the first in line to buy his new CD.

Thanks guys for the kind remarks. It was really honor for me to travel to Alabama and help with their first Alabama State Steel Guitar Show. To be a part of the late Julian THarpe's induction to their Steel Guitar Hall of Fame, I view as one of my greatest musical experiences. Julian was truly a Master of The Steel Guitar.
As you listen to my playing you will hear his influence on my style of playing. Julian as mentioned was tops; nobody will ever play exactly like him.
This cd was a labor of love for me. I hope you enjoy it!
