Very cool! Brokeback just won the oscar for music and the composer mentioned Boo Bernstein in his acceptance speech.

My wife says I need to switch to de-cafe..... but I'm very happy for Boo, and the steel guitar as an instrument.... now, let's replace Itzack Perlman with Buddy Emmons Smile

My congratulations also to Boo for his exemplary contribution to the musical score of this film. You have achieved more recognition for the steel-guitar than most of the working steel players in the business.

As for the movie, it would have received much less criticism about the sexual orientation of the two main characters if the writers had not misrepresented their occupation as COWBOYS.

They were not cowboys...they were SHEEPHERDERS!
